Are you missing your school art classes when you could just let your creativity loose? Pinot’s Palette in Midtown offers fun, social art classes. Offering just the right atmosphere, you will lose any self-consciousness you entered with and just start creating. The first step is to choose your class – each lesson is based around recreating a specific piece of art – some famous, some not so famous. The pieces that inspire each class are all pictured on their website, so you can choose a class according to your artistic inclination. Pack your own food and drink (yes, you may bring wine!) and let talented professional artists guide you as you begin your creation. The process is simple, fun, and easier than you might think, and in the end, you will have a piece of art you'll be proud to display. The space is also available for private classes and parties.

Even though it’s a little hard to find, and the décor isn’t much to speak of, Jonathan’s The Rub consistently is honored with 'The Best Burger' category in local polls year after year. Their massive burgers are seasoned with a top-secret spice rub, and then served on an ever so slightly sweet sourdough bun, are only on the lunch menu. If you ask nicely, you might be able to get one for dinner, but really, you can save the burgers for lunch. Jonathan’s dinner menu has many tempting options all its own, including a lobster slider starter (Maine lobster salad served open-faced on sweet Hawaiian buns), Italian pastas, and an assortment of deliciously juicy steaks. Jonathan’s is rather small and does not take reservations, but you can call 30-60 minutes before your arrival to make sure there is seating available before you make the trip out.

In the very best Brazilian Churrascaria tradition, Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse serves up all the meat you can eat! After you pay the flat price, flip the card at your table to the green side, and the servers roaming the dining room will present you with cut after cut of various meats. All are sliced tableside for you to grab with the provided tongs – so come with your appetite. Diners enjoy the picanha (prime sirloin), bacon-wrapped filet mignon, or lamb, served as sliced shank or chop. If you need a break or have had your fill, flip the card to the red side, and you can enjoy your meal without interruption. If you’re not a meat eater, there are still options for you too – Chama Gaúcha offers an extensive salad bar that is available on its own or is also included in the main buffet depending on your preferences.
